Spring Wines to Sip, From $10 to $32

Posted by on Mar 24, 2016

The article has a specific focus on Washington D.C., but it still has an excellent list of recommendations for wines of all prices.  This description of a white sounds really refreshing.

Run, don’t walk, to buy this wine. Chill it really cold in your refrigerator, then put it on the counter for about 30 minutes before drinking it. Letting the wine warm up from frigid will help express its tropical-fruit flavors more effectively than trying the find the right chill point from a warm starting point. This is a blend of grapes you might want to check off your list if you’re keeping track: garganega, fernanda, trebbiano and trebbianello. But never mind that: Let go of your inner geek and enjoy the patio. ABV: 12 percent.
